Privacy Policy, GDPR

It's important to us that you, as a customer, feel confident when engaging with us. Our privacy policy gives you insight into how we handle your personal data. We value your privacy and protect your personal information in the best possible way.

WHAT IS GDPR?

Data protection is tightened as of May 25, 2018, when the EU's new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into effect. This regulation completely replaces the Swedish Personal Data Act. Read more on the Data Protection Authority's website.

YOU ARE OUR SOURCE

Alupo Hundkunskap AB processes (registers, stores, and uses) personal data that you provide to us. Data collection occurs via email, web forms, course registration, or telephone calls. Information may be recorded when you order services from us, interact via our website, register for a course, purchase tickets for lectures, book a consultation, or submit a question via the website's contact form.

We do not collect information about you from third parties without your consent. An example is if we wish to access records from a veterinarian/physiotherapist we recommend you visit as part of your dog's rehabilitation plan.

WHAT DATA DO WE STORE?

Examples of personal data we store include: name, personal identification number, address, email, and telephone number. We store information about your purchases; for example, if you attend a puppy course, you will be listed on the course participant list, and this information is saved. Email conversations are saved to retrieve information such as quoted prices, booking confirmations, important correspondence, etc. Personal data is stored in our digital appointment book/calendar when booking private training/behavioral assessments to ensure the delivery of the booked service. The same applies to booked meetings.

Pictures of your dog are not considered personal data and may be stored on our Instagram/Facebook account if you have given verbal consent or approved it during digital course registration. Clear pictures of you are considered personal data and are not stored unless you have consented in the same manner as mentioned above.

We store information regarding your dog, such as journal notes from behavioral assessments conducted by us. The dog's name, breed, gender, age, issues, physical and mental status, recommended actions, etc., are saved in our journal system to ensure your dog's treatment. We collect this information to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer.
